I have had a Aeroplan account for a while but never booked AC. Today I was trying to search for flights (ATL-YVR) thinking I might move points to Aeroplan from my Amex account. I have no points currently in Aeroplan.

Using the web site from laptop or phone, multiple browsers, cleared cookies.... I can search and get results for paid flights, but every search for an award ticket just spins. Is there a secret? Do I have to have points to search? I assume if this was happening to everyone this would be big news, so I assume its an anomaly for me. Ideas are welcome!
