Persuaded the MBonvoyAssist to raise a case. I don't think it's going to go anywhere but I tried. They said they'll be speaking to the hotel management staff for investigation. I've already spoken to the Director of Front Desk so it'll be kinda awkward.
At this rate they're either going to cancel my reservation, or welcome me with the most awkward passive aggressive vibe and give me the worst room possible lol. Either way did book a back up hotel just in case (Halifax Marriott Harbourfront).
