You can argue that the Schiphol VIP-Service mirrors LH FCT / AF La Première but those flag carriers have hubs supporting First Class.
Not many airlines at AMS offer First Class 365 days a year all seasons (EK being the only one, others are seasonal / not daily)
so it is nice to enjoy possible First Class style comforts at a price
