SEA is now killed for autumn season, my October trip got changed to BA/Alaska/AY triangle. Technically the rerouted itienary (initially Oslo<->Oslo) is ok but now has only one AY LH -> no upgrade change. I assume full cancellation is option as firstly I would looked half a day at SEA but also the AY LH legs. I know have among others LAX-HEl as inbound leg, what would be my changes to just ask to change the whole thing to HEL-LAX-HEL? Because initial departure location is OSL that might be a stretch?
We were also booked on AY33/34 (ARN-HEL-SEA and back ) in september. I guess AY should really improve their IT - to begin with, the email indicating the cancellation was a complete joke - they sent an email saying that the schedule has changed on ARN-HEL segment. Only after I checked on the app I noticed that apparently the longhauls are cancelled as those segments are missing and the app only shows that Im gonna be flying from ARN to HEL and then from LAX to SEA and finally from HEL to ARN. Outbound was automatically rebooked via LAX but as the schedule is quite bad I asked if it would be possible to change the departure one day earlier date and change the point of departure to HEL but they refused. I guess the date change would have been ok but the switch from ARN to HEL was not.
