Yes... anything can be repaired. But from what I see, there is structural damage to the rear ⅓ par of the aircraft. Let's say AC wants to invest in a 16+ year old plane. It would need 6+ months to fix. Can they find a used plane and retrofit for the same cost? Perhaps.

But either way, as I said, and as you said... 1 less 77W for the summer period.
