Both times I entered the country this year via Global Entry, in LAX and SFO, there was no custom check; everyone just enters freely after baggage claim, with no officer checking anything like declaration. The most recent time in LAX, there's no opportunity to declare anything throughout the arrival process (not that I had anything to declare).

This is the first year I noticed this relaxation. I believe I still needed to declare last year, though not 100% sure. Is this also everyone else's experience?
