Precisely. I recently gave MAN a go again on CX figuring that it would save me time from Scotland vs. LHR.
Pay for trolley at station, moving walkway not working, security worse than LHR, lounge badly signposted and so far off piste that when I got there I decided not to go in but simply to walk over to gate, no cash machine except Travelex with a usurious fee even for British bank card holders. MAN is an absolute disgrace and having given it another go in future I will travel some hours more to fly from LHR. CX needs to address the shortcomings of the airport as they reflect poorly on it as an operator.
CX flight from MAN also left a lot to be desired in my view, with breakfast served six hours in: teatime up north and shortly after midnight in Honkers, with another five or six hours left to fly. Very disappointing experience all round.
