A lot has to be said for light luggage. I swapped from a 2004 vintage Samsonite (which weighed about 11kg empty - but it was built like Fort Knox!) to a 2020ish Samsonite Lite-Box 75cm which weighs 3kg.
It's a pleasure to cart around by comparison. Will never go back to heavy luggage, no matter the brand cachet!

Reason: I bought the 75cm for hold luggage, not the 55cm cabin size.
