Went to a wedding there November, 2003 and scored a 1 BR suite on the Club Level for $235/night! It is the single best value I've ever had in terms of luxury vacation and our first experience with the Ritz Club. Every positive mentioned is right on the money. Sarasota is a lovely area, not nearly as crazy as some of the more developed areas on the east coast.

Tried to get the rate again and couldn't come close. But it's a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff.
