AS Lounge agents although usually super kind and friendly are somewhat of an anomaly in the airline lounge world in that they are actually not ticket or gate agents and can basically just provide information, print boarding passes, etc. During irrops on other airlines like AA, lounge access can be critical. I've never understood why AS chose to go this route--maybe at the next 100K forum with the executives we can add this to this list of unanswered questions
