Just chose some random round-trip dates in August:
HEL-LHR
Y Classic 295e
J Classic 750e
OUL-HEL-LHR
Y Classic 644e
J Classic 1672e
How the hell can J classic ex-OUL be 900e more than ex-HEL when there isn't even J on the OUL-HEL flight and the difference in Y Classic is 350e 🤣🤣 I checked ex-a few other domestic, same thing
Pricegouging, of course.
Recently someone linked an article in Finnish media about flyers from OUL that claimed Finnair was overcharging and flying with too little capacity. Finnair denied all accusations. And the competitors basically said "sure, we could enter OUL again, we have capacity and there is demand, only problem is the same second we announce flying on OUL, Finnair will lower their prices to 50€ and then we will make a great loss".
What are the buckets you are getting on those samples? It might be that because the capacity is lacking on OUL-HEL, they only offer the most expensive buckets on that segment and then they designed the fares to no be able to combine a cheap bucket on the LHR-segment so you wil get Y e.g. all the way.
