While we are discussing the door, I was
under the impression that “millionaire’s door” was an accidental misnomer, perpetuated by a certain TV documentary, when it was actually supposed to be the “million pound door” and referred to what BA had to pay every year to HAL to allow its wealthiest travellers to turn right immediately after south security instead of trekking through HAL’s shopping precinct! Who knows what they have to pay now that all the Golds and OWEs go through TFW, I’m surprised that Boots, World of Duty free etc get any business at all….
