Yes, to clarify the UM service at that age is not mandatory, but we decided to purchase it as an added layer of protection. The charge was $100.
Have used the UM service DOM + Transborder several times with one parent doing the drop off and the other doing the pick-up with no issues.
Have never gotten anything notarized, but have always had a letter from the receiving parent prepared for the drop-off parent with contact info, etc..don't think it was ever requested, but you never know when you might get a keener, so I suggest having it prepared.
