Hello, my dog will be flying on Lufthansa as excess baggage. Singapore-Frankfurt-Toronto. 7hr transit in Frankfurt. Will she be taken to the Animal Lounge and be given an opportunity to potty? I am getting mixed answers from Lufthansa and pet relocation folks. Some people say yes, some say just pets flying as manifested cargo go to the Lounge, some are very confused and don't know about the Lounge. Anyone have insight/experience on this? Thanks in advance
UPDATE: dog was taken to Lufthansa Animal Lounge where they took her out and put her in a run with pee pads as per description from Lounge a few days beforehand when I e-mailed them. They also placed pee pad in her crate when they re-crated her for the onward flight. She arrived just fine, had not peed in her crate but obviously must have peed at the Lounge as she did not have a huge pee upon arrival in Toronto and still had water in bowl.
