we checked in tonight on points---lovely warm welcome. Rooms quite nice, still very fresh. Real winner. About 2 1/2 miles from downtown Newport; walking distance to Shaws Supermarket and other suburban big-box shopping. Plenty of parking. Staircases are kind of charming--we really enjoyed the stay.
