The shame is that some lack the maturity to recognise discrimination as a truly hurtful human trait, and consign it off as some kind of trope. In my book discrimination against the handicapped is right up there with the worst. The question raised here is wether some wheelchair passengers are gaming the system. Many of the comments basically assume guilt with no proof, and are willing to shame legitimately handicapped people to prove their point. No doubt you find that "reasonable". Discrimination exists, has done forever, and I'm sorry if appealing against it raises feelings of "what about me" in privileged posters like you. No, the goal is not for lock, but to expose selfish entitled ideas like yours. Sounds like a "reasonable discussion" only happens for you when it's your rules. There is a thing called "opposition"...get over it!
