The AA exception is pretty clear they’re saying domestic flights don’t qualify even if you have emerald. Meaning you can’t use Admirals lounge and the equivalent say SFO-SEA. “Solely” domestic can only mean this. My itinerary was international, inclusive of domestic connection all under one confirmation code. I don’t know how else “solely” domestic can be interpreted. How can my flight be mixed domestic and international to be a non “solely” domestic?
I am also assuming when the tickets are scanned these formulas are checked. The single checkin staff at Alaska lounge in LAX made up my entry denial. I don’t know why Alaska airline hires these kind of people doing things out of spite.
International "long-haul" is a flight of at least 5 hours in duration.
Oneworld aside, AS provides AL access on any paid/award ticket that is at least 2100 miles long. You should have been allowed access on that alone unless your flight was an upgrade.
