I've mentioned previously it's down to a failed negotiation between CX and BA. BA agreed to to continue crediting certain discounted economy fares and forego P class. Allegedly, there's an internal memo on the subject.. All other oneworld negotiated P apart from BA. Management chose the wrong option and someone dropped the ball. I've written to CX and they are open to discussions with BA. Our program is with BA and they need to initiate. Or at least share a bit more transparency as to what the issues are.
