I've got 4 similar flip-top boxes in the basement, and they don't have actual handles. There are straight sections you can hook your fingers under to lift them, but it's awkward and painful to the fingertips if the boxes are heavy. I can't see baggage handlers being too enthused about having to load/unload these, especially as the boxes won't fit smoothly between suitcases, what with the irregular shape due to the lid section protruding.
