I had an unexpected success with the Amex concierge this morning - I'm traveling to Italy in a few weeks and noticed that Osteria Francescana, Massimo Bottura's 3-star Michellin restaurant, its technically on the list for Resy's Global Dining Access, though you have to call in to check for availability and make a reservation. I called in with low expectations, but nonetheless the agent was able to confirm a reservation on the spot for the exact day I needed later this month.

I realize the Amex/Resy partnership is a double-edged sword, since from what others have said the concierge might not be as helpful for securing a hard-to-get table at restaurants outside of that framework, but I was impressed that they were able to make this reservation on such short notice and without a lengthy back-and-forth.
