Meal Served? Yes - Pre-ordered 'Thai Meatballs' tasted just fine. Would love to know what's Thai about meatballs with tomato sauce, broccoli, and basil over orzo.
Snack Basket? No

Flight was delayed 45 minutes due to incoming delay (SFO-DCA delayed waiting for crew). Boarded a completely full 738 in 38 minutes (pre-board until door closed). SWA wouldn't be proud, but I haven't seen United do that recently.

PDBs offered, pre-order worked, all suit jackets collected and hung (haven't seen that in a while). Lots of drink top ups during the flight. Very friendly FAs who came through regularly despite lots of turbulence, some moderate, and made eye contact.

If all domestic F on UA was this level, I'd be happy.
Main criticism of UA here is the equipment being used. Delta uses a 757-200 with D1 seats upfront on DCA-LAX. This seems like a route where UA could use the 757-200, especially since they have at two internationally configured aircraft, usually widebodies, flying between IAD and SFO.
