Did you have more luck when you lived on the west coast, or is this your first attempt to use your stash? How flexible are your travel dates and departure airports? I think one problem you might have is that if you don’t fly out of a major international gateway, AS often can’t provide you with a positioning flight since they don’t fly east coast routes and they don’t allow mixing of of partners on awards.
