I don't know if it is related to your issue, but it might be. A couple of days ago, I got a pop up on the MR Android App. asking me to enhance security of my account and confirm my identity. I had gotten the pop up for a while and had ignored it. I was distracted this last time, so agreed to it. It turned out it was turning on two factor authentication when I log into my MR account via the web. Perhaps MR was trying to enable two factor authentication for your account and it got munged (TM). So I would call them as requested and see what they need. It maybe exactly what they are saying and that they want to confirm your identity and enable 2FA on your account. Could also be they suspect fraudulent behavior on your account from your flurry of booking activity this week. I doubt that is the case. I suspect it is just a problem with converting your account over to 2FA. Good luck and please let us know how you make out.
