How will this impact waitlisted upgrade awards? I already have an Economy ticket for late October that's waitlisted for upgrade to PE, at a cost of 22k Asia Miles one-way. The new award chart makes that 23k. If the upgrade clears before 1st Oct, does it charge me 22k, but if it doesn't clear until after that, it will be 23k? Not a massive difference, but would mean I need to convert some more credit card points - how do I know if I need to?
