On a stay here now. The welcome letter warns that there could be construction noise from 8 to 5 but we haven't heard anything. There are indeed several active construction sites in the area including new condos next door and what looks like a giant solar energy farm across the street, but nothing noisy was going on. Regarding seaweed, I walked the beach for a a mile or so, didn't see any issues. There does appear to be seaweed on some of the shoals, I don't know if that is normal or not, but it wasn't causing problems. As for the room, booked on standard points and got the usual upgrade (ocean view in building #3). The rooms are big, maybe 600 sq ft. Breakfast buffet is great, so nice to *not* have to hassle with the F&B credit. The beach is nice, powder sand and clear warm ocean water. The beach area was crowded today, all the umbrellas were gone early. Its nice that there's no charge for beach chairs or pool day beds, but then one does pay ~$500+ a night here.
