I think that ship has sailed for SAS already, and I would be surprised if SAS turning back around on this is anywhere on the horizon except maybe going back with a more reliable empty middle seat.

Seems to me that SAS is probably doing this cabin renaming game in order to try to entice more of its travelers to pay up more than they are already, particularly the leisure segment. Perhaps this kind of thing also works a bit to get some Scandinavian business travelers to be able to more easily do a dance around premium cabin booking restrictions on short-haul flights and thus pay up more.
