The big 6 or 7 (US Airways and Alaska being 6 and 7) should ban together and agree to fly each others passengers during bad weather. Otherwise, the majors are no better than a bigger version of Hooters Air (without the Hooter girls). When you fly Hooters, if there's bad weather, you expect to be stranded.
Now I might not mind an eight hour tarmac delay on Hooters Air... where do they fly?
