If you are flying in J regularly, neither A3 or TK elite status should make much difference to you.
I'm far more familiar with Miles & Smiles, but even top tier Elite Plus members only get a handful more miles as a tier bonus. It's absolutely nothing when compared to the main Oneworld top tier statuses... And it's a total nightmare to burn TK miles effectively...
