Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, hotel did the job. It's a new-built property which opened less than a year ago. That's a plus as one would expect.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard on points. The upgrade I received was a one-category upgrade. Virtually the same as standard except for Nespresso machine and free minibar (and, according to the website, 2-3 m^2 larger size).
How are the rooms?
Conform to one of the latest HI blueprints. Relatively small, localization mainly limited to a few different pictures in the room. Bathroom is virtually identical in design to the HI LHR T3 one.
How is the exec. lounge?
N/A
What was good and what was bad?
Good: Correct elite benefit recognition, Diamond breakfast for two and late check-out offered pro-actively (I was able to make use of both). Okay noise insulation of room, solid HVAC system.
Bad: Well, if I have to look for skeletons in the closet, I'd mention that the check-in and check-out were a bit slow (but I would imagine that will improve over time).
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes. Not a perfect stay (e.g., fruit salads at the breakfast buffet had obviously been frozen which you see at quite a few, but not all HI). Still, solid value overall.
