What is your IHG One Rewards Club status?
Diamond Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
For the most part, yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked King Cosy and received King Classic Ocean View.

How are the rooms?
This room overlooked the pool bar, with a view of the gardens and partial view of the sea. Spacious, clean and due to it's position on the very edge of the hotel, meant the design offered a lot of luggage storage.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
- Great property. I love it here.
- Very relaxed atmosphere.
- Huge beds and clean.
- F + B very good.

Bad:
- Had to wait until my room was ready as I arrived an hour or so before the official check-in time. No problem there, particularly, but when they tell you that they will call you to let you know the room is ready, and they don't, it's annoying. Especially considering the number of front desk staff they have, it's not a big ask. A lot of those staff seem to be "in training", due to an obvious high staff turnover. This makes for a long and laboured check-in/out experience.
- Poorly trained and listless breakfast staff, meaning getting coffee or juice is a chore. There's a lady manning the breakfast desk who thinks it's her sole job to simply circle the room numbers as guests arrive, nothing is offered once taken to your table. Managed to get coffee on 1 morning of 5, and it arrived, but no milk or condiments to accompany it. Not good enough for a property of this calibre.
- Pool bar charges from another room were incorrectly added to my bill. - Eventually removed, once I demonstrated that the signed slips were not in my name and not my room number. No apology. Maybe it happens a lot.
- Despite repeatedly explaining at check-in that i was staying for 5 nights (across 2 reservations), they insisted on telling me that i was staying only one night, and called the room on the first night asking what time I was leaving the following day.

Hopefully, these are one-off's and I was just unlucky, because I do look forward to coming here.
