For my travel dates, I am getting these rates (including all taxes and fees) from the Marriott website
US $165/night at the Le Meridien
US $191/night at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel the Surawongse
US $194/night at the W Bangkok
US $228/night at The Athenee Hotel
US $254/night at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit
Would you still suggest the SGS? We will be staying for 3 nights.
Thank you
My only caution to the above recommendation is if you don't get an upgrade expectations may need to be lowered slightly. Having said that it is in a great location for access to the BTS which you can pretty much utilise to go anywhere. A lot of the Marriott hotels are fairly comfortable so if you are planning on being out most of the day there are cheaper options still in a good location that will do the job.
As for the other ones you mentioned its pretty much Sukhumvit vs Sathorn for location and only your planned itinerary can dictate which works better for you.
