Got a BAH holiday in November, featuring 5 nights (6 days) car hire from JFK, booked before the T&Cs changed.

Only issue was I land in JFK, overnight there, and then go on to Los Angeles, returning from San Francisco with a 12-hour layover in New York.

I was going to "forget" to pick the car up, but now I'm wondering if it's cheaper and easier to pick the car up and park at the airport for 6 days. Have found JFK parking for $60 for 6 days.

Is that better than "forgetting", but then having to enter dialogue with BA trying to get the double TPs added?
