I have stayed in Aman-i-Khas twice (last in 2019) and was also highly recommended the Oberoi. It's literally next door, so we went over for a show around and a bite to eat. Whilst the facilities here and at Sher Bagh (also next door) are better, the accommodation at Aman-i-Khas and the privacy were miles ahead. The tents are so spaciously spread out, and it simply feels higher-end. The service at Aman-i-Khas is amongst the best I've ever experienced, so it will always be my default go-to for this area.
