I see a fare to SGN through an OTA that is very tempting, but I'm hesitating to book since I usually book direct with the airline. The fare is listed as basic economy with AC and JL segments. The JL segment is actually operated by AA and I know AA has basic economy. I think AA just eliminated free bag for BE tpac. I suspect I won't get any free seat assignments on the AC segments, but what about the JL/AA segment?
