"Be a Canadian Starbucks Rewards member" and you can earn miles for reloading in the Starbucks app. If reloading my US-origin Starbucks really doesn't work, I assume I can create a separate Starbucks account while in Canada and just reload it every time I visit. Or can I even reload that Canadian Starbucks while in the US too? I also noticed converting 400 miles to 100 stars for an iced coffee is not a terrible deal to get some easy activity.
As long as the starbucks account is Canadian, you can have both US and CAN Starbucks cards in it and both should work for aeroplan points. I reloaded $75 on a US card by accident and still got the 100 points.
