Howver, it was full when I wanted to return in November so I went and stayed at the Albatross in Cascais just next to the station. It was more convenient and a fraction on the price. The Intercontinental wanted €290 a night. Reward availability was non existent. The cherry on the cake was the food in the restaurant was, if anything, better. It also lacks the trains running down the bottom of the guarded. I love the Intercontinental but I shall not be back.
I checked for this whole year and it looked like no point-stay available. Which month/days would I find lower prices for this hotel? Thank you!
