Breakfast | ORD-IAH | Changed Flight Due to Cx | Narrowbody - Too Late for PreOrder
Hi,
I flew a flight from Chicago-O'Hare (ORD) to Houston Intercontinental (IAH) earlier today. It was a breakfast service on a 737-9 MAX (2019 build before the NEXT cabin was committed to | i.e. w/o screens). Here are a few details:
**Note: Had originally been scheduled through Newark to fly on a 789, however, that flight was proactively cancelled the day before because of expected severe weather conditions, hence my re-route through ORD
(1) Pre-Departure Beverage: Yes | Orange juice or Water | I choose water
(2) Pre-Order: Yes & No | It was available on this flight, but I was moved to it late due to a cancellation
(3) First Choice | Yes, as a 1K, the lead was able to honor my 1st choice
(4) Choices Offered | Frittata or Waffles | My choice was the Waffles
(5) Service Flow | (a) Drinks, (b) Full meal w/ yogurt, croissant and fruit served together
(6) Bonus | Given the swap, I arrived home 1.75 hours early while leaving an hour later than originally scheduled :-)
Overall, the quality of the food was just fine for a breakfast dish. The service by the lead and other F flight attendant was good. Drink top ups were offered once about 30 minutes out.
Here is the photo:

Thanks!
Best,
