Probably quite easily, since it’s completely different. It wouldn’t be acceptable for people to be on a plane in a bikini or a pair of swimming trunks, but that’s perfectly acceptable on a beach or by a pool.

Personally I think bare feet are not acceptable on a plane. And that applies to either sex though females do tend to look after theirs a bit more so can probably get away with it.

And as for sandals… they shouldn’t be allowed anywhere!
