Just flew QF 17 hrs in Y. Their 789 has only 1 exit row with 9 seats with extra legroom . Had I originally arrived at DFW 5:30hrs before departure as scheduled I would have went back landslide and surely have been willing to pay $140 somewhat dollars for that exit row seat if possible. The flight was full. The only empty seat in the main cabin was a middle row seat in the exit row.

Despite the superior food and in flight service on QF that AA fails miserably at ; I’ll never take flying on AA metal for granted again considering how easily attainable extra legroom on international flights are for us elites.
