While the website is designed to allow you to only enter one FFP number for miles accrual, there is nothing stopping a pax from going to check in counter to request input of OAL FFP as FQTV (accrual) yet retain servicing / status with KrisFlyer as FQTS. Wifi works based on FQTS = KrisFlyer.

Can someone also confirm that I must have my KF number on the booking to take advantage (without paying). I’ve got a couple of SQ flights coming up, but we’re US-based and rarely fly SQ, so normally credit to UA. I can credit to KF, no issues - I’ll hit my status with UA regardless of these couple of flights (I can pass on the 10% mileage flown…especially on 4 hour flights), but given the strict expiry with KF, crediting to UA would be ideal - suppose there is no way to have both KF and UA numbers associated. Also, wife and kids will be on one of the itineraries…they don’t currently have KF accounts, but if the wifi is relatively useable, might be worth getting it for them.

Can anyone also confirm whether the [free] wifi is useable on any type of device (phone, iPad, laptop…etc)? And also whether you can switch device used at some point (as I assume you couldn’t be logged in simultaneously on, say, a laptop and a phone).
per above, can FQTS to KrisFlyer and FQTV to UA - but can only be done requesting this at airport check in counter. For KrisFlyer enrolment, make sure wife and kids all use unique email address (yes, even kids) as enrolment will fail if there is dupe email detected.

So far i've used wifi on laptop and mpobile phone (iPhone) and no issues with it. I think they do allow device switching but when you log in to the wifi portal onboard, they will prompt for email address - need not be the same email used in booking, but it should still be a unqiue email else they may detect you are already logged in (on another device).
