Not for nothing, but I was flying from ORD-DEN yesterday 7/2 on a 757, Flt UA280, and on the taped Boarding announcement it told all of us we were flying Continental Airlines. Then it said if there are any questions that weren't covered in the announcement, to look in the Continental Magazine. I would have thought after all these years, Branding and Customer Communication would have been taken care of and tightened up. I'd be pretty certain the "old" announcement isn't imbedded into the hardware and can be changed. For some reason the announcement caught me by surprise and didn't sit very well. A little discomfort and some embarrassment for the employees, who must get some comments/ribbing from customers.
