My experience with this at SFO has been that the AirTag info can sometimes be sort of stale and even potentially mislead some people to an improper/premature assessment about the likelihood of the bag making it onto the UA flights. First couple of times I caught myself en route to jumping to a premature and incorrect conclusion about the checked luggage situation while flying UA out of SFO, but got saved by early indicators courtesy of the longer broadcast range of the TilePro trackers (which I had paired with the AirTag trackers) in the checked luggage.
