I'm sure it was a stressful experience (go arounds can be quite scary for people not used and already not 100% at ease) but on balance, it is great that they will make it to NYC tonight! Whilst I agree that maybe they can book something more suited to their stress aversion next time, I also think that in some ways, having gone through this adventure and "survived" it, your sister may well feel stronger next time and maybe also better equipped to deal with similar hiccups if they occur again!
