Excessive Delay in Partner Mileage Credit
A March 28 LY flight was credited to AS, qualifying for 2023 MVPG75k status, based on a Q1 status challenge promotion. It took 14 weeks and multiple emails to finally receive the credit (and status), during which time travel on AS earned the MVPG bonus. Interesting that a subsequent April 7 LY flight posted to my MP account in about 2 weeks - also with the MVPG bonus. As part of the correspondence with Customer Care, I requested and was denied retroactive credit - despite the fact that the AS travel took place several weeks after the qualifying flights. The agent called to explain, claims she first spoke with a supervisor, insists it is Corporate policy.
Considering the fact that it took so long to upgrade status, 75k bennies are highly unlikely due to the challenge, I am a bit disappointed they would not throw me some kind of bone for the grief and inconvenience.
