This is a serious question. Are people wracked with guilt that they don't live in a slum?

Because the "failures" are first world problems. Oh I didn't get my hot towel. Oh I didn't get a predeparture drink. Oh my first class seat doesn't fully recline. Oh my luggage is delayed.
Sure, not tiny insurmountable problems but in the grand scheme of things they're not life changing. Anyone who is complaining about first class is already in a much more favourable position than the vast majority of the world. As such, we tone down our problems because as I said, they are first world problems.
