Not sure how they'd actually find out given no one ever seems to talk to each other but I guess it does cover them should you be reported for a no-show whilst also discouraging people from trying to play the system.
Seems as though they've also updated item c:
c) The hotel/car element of the package must be for a minimum of five nights within the flight travel dates for travel before 31 December 2023.
though someone needs to have a word about the effective date in the revised T&C - it states 26th June 202
