Along with a link to a third party payment site. The origin email domain is the third party payment processor, and my name is misspelled in the email itself. I'll plan on calling the Hyatt reservations line to ask about this when I'm back on land but curious to know if others have received this as well.

Hyatt's online booking engine is not compliant with certain EU electronic payment regulations, so the property is not able to use the card you attached to the reservation. This kind of request is legitimate and not a phishing attempt. Note that your reservation will be cancelled if you do not make payment as requested.
They could easily solve this (at least partially) by including a small blurb on their website, in the rate rules, or in the booking confirmation, no?
"Dear Guests: if your rate requires prepayment, you will receive an automated email from OurChosenPaymentProcessor.com within 24 hours post booking. This is a legitimate request from our hotel and helps us comply with EU regulations; the email should correctly notate your stay details including guest name, dates, and a deposit equivalent to your first night. Should you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to the front desk (or Hyatt Customer Service) for clarification. We will be happy to assist and put you at ease. We look forward to you confirming a deposit with us, and your stay."
There are of course, numerous writing styles, cultural nuances, and region-specific niceties. Thompson Madrid could then put their own spin on this (consistent with local business and hospitality norms), etc.
