We flew IST - YVR on TK and then YVR - YYJ on an AC affiliate yesterday.

The TK agent in IST could not even verify that our AP number was affiliated with our TK BP.

She was completely unable to book our luggage straight through to YYJ. There was no way that she could give us a YVR - YYJ boarding pass.

I personally find *A completely useless. If it were marginally integrated, we should be able to remain airside in YVR on an IST - YYJ *A trip rather than having to deal with a landside sojourn, especially as our TK flight was delayed by an hour due to an IFE reboot issue which made the connection tight.
