It probably is worth it, you'll have to deal with a greeter at the entrance (they usually look up your name on a sheet, but maybe showing the BP is enough), but probably no different than dealing with the contractors guarding the various entrances to the main lines (who will want to see your BP with PreCheck). It can get pretty hectic in the general area, so I'd go through the First area just for the calmness.
