Reporting back as this actually worked out extremely well with no issues. We checked our bags in T5, took the People Mover to T3 to go through the TSA line there, accessed the Flagship Lounge, and then took the airside bus from T3 over to T5 and did not have to clear security again before boarding our QR flight.
